Resting day in Pamplona

even though I want to rest the day I am way awake at 5.20 am...my inner pilgrim clock is working:))

I used the day to look around in Pamplona. It's the capital of the Region Navarra and the former host city of the King of Navarra. People here are extremely nice to each other and everybody I ask for directions etc is very helpful!

I try to get my €500 bill changed into €100, but all attempts fail. Finally Deutsche Bank recommended me to got to Madrid to the National Bank of Spain as only there I could get this change - I decide to simply get money out of the atm here In Pamplona to be prepared for the rural travel of the next 4 days.

My knee is still hurting badly and I hope I can continue tomorrow. When I was sitting in cafe worrying about myself a guy in a wheel chair passed by. He could not move his head or arms, but still was able to drive his wheel chair - I realize how little my problems are now and that I need to get back into the solution mode!!!!!

I was able to secure a room in Punte la Reina and will take it easy tomorrow walking slower. Maybe that's my lesson to learn: slow down!!!!
