The Camino is described as easy today - nothing is ever easy on the way though especially with the distance of 30 km. A young Madrileno whom I passed by caught up with me again and wanted to walk along as he was bored to walk with his promenading friends. Andres, who just turned 19 yesterday was a challenging hiking partner. We make it to Najera in 5 hours though:))
Hotel AC Pamplona sent my charger for my Fitbit armband and my charger for my sonycare and it was delivered to my room on Sunday evening at 22.00 - great service 'Marriott'!!!! I get up at 5.30 am and start walking at 6.00. First I only am accompanied by a squirt who must have lost all fear for humans with hundreds of pilgrims passing by every day. For about 100 meters he runs and stops in parallel to me.
I then meet Penny from Canada : " My name is Penny: small change but no sense/cents ( great line)!!! At 52 being a mother of 5 and grandmother of 4 show packed her hiking shoes to walk the Camino. Respect, Penny!!
